🎄 News from MOST — #4

Here’s an early Christmas gift for you: our MOST Wonderful Time Of The Year Playlist. From now on you can readily join in on the Christmas music during family get-togethers, yet keep it classy!

Speaking of lists, we listed some of our recent project for you below. Enjoy the read, savour the sound and have a harmonious holiday season!

Oranje Fonds ● Niet durven is jezelf verliezen

As much as Christmas is about being together, for some it can be a stark reminder of feeling alone. “Niet durven is jezelf verliezen” is a moving documentary that explores the many faces of loneliness. We follow Peter, Sanne and Amjad as they experience different manifestations of loneliness. Also, we learn how various community initiatives can make a genuine impact in their lives. Directed by Marlette van den Bergh (Beklijf), full audio post-production by MOST.

Our work included detailed dialogue editing, sound design, and a sensitive final mix that supports the film’s intimate tone without overstating it. The project was commissioned by the Oranje Fonds and made possible with the support of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS).

United Consumers

United Consumers asked us to participate in a challenging pitch: Could we create an earworm, a classic jingle including their brand name and slogan? We explored various avenues and eventually created, in direct conversation with the United Consumers team, a tune that embodies United Consumer’s vision. Short and deceptively simple, destined to become part of the collective advertising memorabilia.

Alongside the sonic branding, we produced the full 2025 radio commercial campaign including voice casting, sound design, and final mixing – shaping a coherent audio language that strengthens the United Consumers brand name presence for the years ahead.

Rift Riff racking up nominations at Dutch Game Awards

Matthijs’ first big game project has landed him a nomination for Best Audio at the Dutch Game Awards! And not only the sound got nominated: Rift Riff was also nominated for Best Game, Best Art and Best Game Design. Congrats to the Rift Riff team for these well-deserved industry nods.

We can’t wait to show you the next game we are working on, but the project isn’t quite ‘there’ yet. In the meantime, however, do enjoy a couple of levels of Rift Riff on your phone and experience the nominated audio bliss first-hand.

On the value of recording human musicians

One of the things we thoroughly enjoy, and do whenever we feel it is appropriate, is record live instruments for our audio projects. Sometimes we record our own performances, other times we ask specialised musicians to perform.

A recent session with a string ensemble was such a good demonstration of the value of recording excellent musicians live, that we dedicated a Note to it: What does live recording add and why should you consider it? The Note includes a revealing video & audio comparison of ‘computer vs human’.

More MOST

Besides crafting brand music and fully designing your sound, we’re also happy to make that difference with a carefully casted VO, perceptive voice direction, and a tight mix. The following solid project are definitely worth a listen.

In the last few months, we happily worked for BrandMRParranoJuraHeinekenMeroda Cosmetics, Nutrilon, Koopmans, and De’Longhi. Also, we had great fun creating a radio spot for the stage version of Niek Barendsen’s Welkom in de Middeleeuwen together with Bos Theaterproducties and recorded the vocals for their theme song.

On the VO front, we outfitted a number of VO talents with a fresh set of demo’s, courtesy of our demo package – and updated our VO casting database along the way. For VO talents thinking of starting the year with a fresh portfolio: the package is still available!
