Sometimes projects have unexpected outcomes. Under the working title ‘Dutch & The Translations’ Ivo produced a few Dutch language adaptations of classic pop songs. This project got shelved, but singer Jeroen Manuhutu & Ivo were determined to not let those great recordings go to waste. So under the moniker ‘Revisitors’ they are doing English language covers, starting with Ordinary World.

Although the original production and performance by Duran Duran is legendary, Ivo always heard a late sixties / early seventies Beatles-inspired vibe under the surface of the song. That’s what he tried to bring out with help of fantastic musicians: Frank Tontoh (drums), Mark Haanstra (bass), Bastiaan Mulder (guitars), Jeroen de Rijk (percussion), Dutch String Collective (strings) and Ivo on keyboards with Jeroen Manuhutu on lead and backing vocals.
