MOST will remember the year 2024 as a year of positive change. We look back on a successful rejuvenation of the company: Matthijs joined the team in April, we expanded our services and launched a new website during our ADNIGHT party in October. In this newsletter, we proudly present the first batch of work from the New MOST as we look forward to more titillating work in 2025.
KPMG
In their new campaign for KMPG, agency Joe Public highlights the human touch that is essential in KPMG’s accounting & advisory work. Actual KPMG employees are followed in close-up as they experience emotions during their work day. A light-hearted VO offers context to the moving shots by Jaap Vliegenthart. Both Ivo and Diederik worked on the music, exploring various options with Joe Public’s creative team. MOST Audio Post found just the right balance in the mix.
VGZ
Agency Fitzroy followed their campaign for health insurer VGZ with a new film by director Johan Kramer. VGZ’s Ambassador for Healthcare Innovation Eva Eikhout makes a return as well. Diederik enhanced his original hybrid electronic/acoustic track, adding vocal layers and infusing the campaign with a distinctive, human sound.
Matrix x National Ballet
We like operating at the intersection of culture and commerce so this project really hit the spot. In a film shot and directed by Daan Kouijzer, the prestigious Dutch National Ballet reveal the real world of professional dancers on and off stage. The highly talented, new-generation dancers assembled in the Junior Company and the way Matrix Fitness help them maintain their physical wellbeing take centre stage. It’s a riveting tale, produced by Tante Tini. Matthijs remixed a Tchaikovsky ballet classic for the soundtrack, worked on the film’s sound design and completed the final mix.

Nowness x Peggy Kuiper
Nowness recently featured a short film by director Andreas Pasvantis about the creative process of Dutch painter Peggy Kuiper. Captured on 16mm Bolex, Super8, and 35mm film, Pasvantis translates the raw intimacy and richness of Kuiper’s paintings through analog mediums, amplifying the intuitive approach and layered process that lets imperfections be part of the story.
Diederik composed an electro-acoustic soundscape that matches this intimate, vibrant portrait.

Notes on AI
We continue to closely follow the development of AI in the field of music and sound. In addition to hands-on experiments, Ivo has contributed to a number of panel discussions and articles on the broader implications. It is not a black-and-white picture; we see creative potential as well as ethical, cultural and ecological implications to be considered. Currently, we feel we are navigating the fine line between AI as a tool for enhancing human creativity and AI as an autonomous creator. Happy news from the personal front
Some of you might have noticed Matthijs’ absence from the studio starting mid-december: this is because Matthijs and his partner Renske have become the proud parents of their baby son Otto. See how the happy dad shines! By the time you read this newsletter, Matthijs has returned to the helm at MOST Audio Post. We want to thank Wouter Verhulst for stepping in on a freelance basis while Ivo was holding the fort.
